10. The Goonies (1985)
GOONIES NEVER SAY DIE! Although I would initially cry at the thought of Richard Donner's The Goonies being remade, I'm intrigued as to how Hollywood would approach a remake today. With the rise of technology, I doubt D.I.Y. gadgets would be made from household appliances. I wouldn't be surprised if the new Goonies would all be sat in the same room, on their laptops, creating a virtual forum for their electronic antics, as many kids don't really play outside much nowadays... Or it could have the potential to be brilliant with action sequences like those of the Harry Potter series and contribute to the fond childhood memories of future generations.
