After successfully sabotaging the launch of the Architect ship in the final moments of the movie, Meredith Vickers and Elizabeth Shaw realise its now falling gracefully toward them. In a stunning display of idiocy they decide theyre going to try to outrun it; stuck on that ship for so long, they needed the exercise anyway right? Eventually Shaw falls over and decides to roll out of the way, but Vickers decides to stay the course of lunacy and goes out with a splat. How to Survive It: Well, instead of trying to outrun something which is moving maybe one thousand times faster than me in a straight line, Id have simply taken what, six or seven, ten at most, leisurely steps to one side before watching the thing pass harmlessly by. Would this have been as dramatic? Probably not. But then again, I prefer living over drama.
