10 Absurd Movie Deaths That A Normal Person Could Have Avoided

4. Justin Luis (Louis Ferreira) €“ Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Cause of Death: Failure to recognise a blatant Zombie In the opening act to 2004€™s Dawn of the Dead remake, Luis, boyfriend of Ana, the lead, is the first bit of zombie fodder we see on screen. When he wakes up to be met with a little girl missing half of her face but not registering any pain, he rushes over to her concerned. He then proceeds to practically offer his jugular up to her as a pre-breakfast snack as he instructs Ana to call an ambulance and then has the audacity to act surprised when she takes a juicy bite. How To Survive It: Simply acknowledge the possibility of zombies existing, particularly after you€™ve clearly just seen one. You don€™t have to immediately bash its head in, but at least open with a line of questioning like €œbefore I come over there and put my hands and throat near your mouth, tell me, are you a zombie?€ Silence, throaty moaning and/or snarling probably means yes. In which case, reach for a blunt object. Dramatically, Luis had to die at that point to stress the severity of the situation, but if it happened to me I€™d have been way more cautious.
