There is only one thing anyone would possibly know Paul Hogan for, and that's his iconic role as Michael 'Crocodile' Dundee in the Crocodile Dundee series, which propelled him to fame overnight and briefly initiated an infatuation between Australia and the rest of the world. The film was a monster commercial and critical hit, coasting on Hogan's natural, relaxed charm and killer sense of humour (not to mention his good looks and funny accent). This is the single role that Hogan has seemingly feasted on for the last two-and-a-half decades, working on a critically reviled (but financially successful) sequel, and then a third one that went straight-to-video. Without question, Hogan is a one-hit wonder.
