Of all the action heroes in movie history who have earned a reputation for shooting first and asking questions later, Arnold Schwarzenegger is the one who has amassed one of the highest body counts of them all. In Commando alone he takes on a small army, gunning them down effortlessly as they inexplicably miss his huge muscular body. The thing about rules is that there are always exceptions, and in the career of Arnie that exception came in 2002 with the release of Collateral Damage. Here the muscle-bound hero plays a fireman who sets out for Latin America to avenge the death of his wife and son at the hands of a group of terrorists. While this premise sounds like a typical action-packed Arnie vehicle - and there are a few action set pieces for fans to sink their teeth into - it's perhaps the only Arnie movie featuring guns in which the man himself doesn't fire any. Given that Collateral Damage lacks thrills and excitement, giving him a few people to shoot might have livened things up considerably.
