10 Actors About To Give Their Most Insane Performance EVER
1. Austin Butler - Dune: Part Two
Austin Butler certainly gave a fantastic performance as Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann's recent biopic, and though it netted him a well-earned Best Actor Oscar, it's less an insane performance than it is just a really, really good one.
But Butler is next set to play a part damn-near destined to make him one of 2023's big viral movie sensations.
Butler will appear in Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two as the villainous Feyd-Rautha - the cunning nephew of Baron Harkonnen (Stellan SkarsgÄrd).
Feyd was so memorably played by Sting - the musician, not the wrestler - in the 1984 David Lynch adaptation, and so while Butler certainly has some big shoes to fill, he's absolutely got the charisma and screen presence to knock it out of the park.
Given the character's rock star charm and slinky dangerousness, it's a role that feels informed by both Butler's prior turns as Elvis and Manson follower Tex Watson in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - and yet considerably more out-there than either.
