10 Actors That Aren't Nearly As Well-Known As They Should Be
4. Sam Rockwell
Do you remember when Seven Psychopaths (2012) came out and not that many people cared about it? Well they should have, not only because it's a good film, but because Sam Rockwell really really ROCKED it. I am so sorry for making that joke. But seriously, Sam Rockwell's character Billy was a genuinely phenomenal picture of someone truly unhinged and obsessive, yet weirdly friendly and likeable - this was mostly down Rockwell's flawless delivery. The guy can do a lot: he was awesome as the heartfelt simpleton brother of Robert Ford in The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford (2007), and equally impressive as the universe's loneliest man in Moon (2009), where he had no one to bounce his performance off but himself. The Way Way Back (2013) was a rare lull for Rockwell, but he did everything he could with a supremely annoying character, and ended up making the film fairly watchable.
