Who Is He?: It's fair to say that Matt Smith is already pretty well known internationally for his work on BBC's Doctor Who, but now that the role has been handed over to Peter Capaldi, it's time for Smith to carve out a new niche for himself in the more challenging world of movies. The only sure thing for Smith is How to Catch a Monster, Ryan Gosling's writing and directing debut, which will in itself ensure that the film sees plenty of interest from distributors and viewers. The supernatural fantasy nature of the plot should be an easy fit for Smith, and if successful, this will surely lead to him earning more Hollywood work, likely as a go-to villain in much the same way as Benedict Cumberbatch has been this past year, starring in Star Trek Into Darkness and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
