Who Is She?: Originally known among teenage girls for starring in the risible TV show The Secret Life of the American Teenager, but she soon enough picked up strong plaudits for her work in Alexander Payne's The Descendants, and last year's romantic drama The Spectacular Now. Sadly, she's also far too famous for being cast in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, filming her scenes and then unceremoniously being cut from the film, reportedly amid rumours that many fans found her too "plain" for the role of Mary-Jane, a ridiculous claim if I've ever heard it, albeit one vehemently denied by the studio. Still, 2014 is looking to be a great year in spite of losing out on Spidey, for she's set to star in a film adaptation of Veronica Roth's popular novel Divergent which, if successful, has two other sequels ready and waiting. Simply, if this is a hit, it could quite possibly put Woodley on the same level of stardom as Jennifer Lawrence with The Hunger Games. Even if that doesn't work out, Woodley should earn plenty of fame by starring in the adaptation of the popular romance book The Fault in Our Stars.
