3. Harrison Ford - Matthew Scudder - A Walk Among The Tombstones
Liam Neeson pretty much rocked it in this year's action thriller, A Walk Among The Tombstones, and was even cited by the author of the original novel as "the perfect Matthew Scudder." Lawrence Block, who penned the book, said of Neeson's casting: "ever since I saw him in Michael Collins, Liam Neeson has been up at the top of my personal Scudder wish list. I couldn't be happier about ." But did you know that Harrison Ford was originally considered for the role of Matthew Scudder? That's right, the man who gave us Indiana Jones and Han Solo very nearly ended up starring in an adaptation of the same book all the way back in 2002, with D.J. Curoso poised to direct. Though this might've been an awesome casting choice back then, Ford might've been a bit too old to play the role here in 2014.
