The Harry Potter cast certainly grew into their roles over the course of the franchise, becoming more confident performers with each passing movie, even if it's clear from the very first film that the casting was note-perfect.

And in case you somehow weren't convinced by Emma Watson's performance as studious know-it-all Hermione Granger, Watson basically pulled a real-life Hermione while memorising her lines for the earlier films.

In a 2017 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Watson revealed that in order to memorise her lines, she went above and beyond and learned every other actor's lines also.

Her dedication to knowing the material inside and out was laudable, especially for a young actress on the rise, but it ended up causing issues for the production, as Watson would unconsciously mouth the lines of her co-stars during shooting, in turn ruining countless takes.

Watson admitted that she "overdid it" in preparing to play Hermione, though added that she was a huge fan of the books and wanted to make sure she did her job well. Mission accomplished.
