Sure, Lindsay Lohan pretty much shot her own career in the face and threw it off the cliff when she decided to go wild in her formative teenage years, but you still would have thought this once-talented actress would have earned more than $100 a day for her work on Paul Schrader's The Canyons. That's right: Lohan was reportedly paid just $100 per day over a period of 23 days for her role as former actress Tara in the movie scripted by Bret Easton Ellis. It's thought that Lohan agreed to said low pay for her part here because she saw The Canyons as a chance to show off her acting skills in the wake of years of crazy controversy, and in a weird way the movie does prove that she still has some talent left in her (despite the fact she was a nightmare on set and often failed to show up). Unfortunately, the finished movie itself isn't very good at all - it failed to pull in more than $5,000 dollars in profit at the box office.
