Though there were many questions put to Daniel Craig, on his reveal as Bond, about how he felt to be the first blonde actor to play the character. It would probably be nothing compared to what Damian Lewis would face if he were to become the first ginger Bond. Lewis claims it would be "wonderful" to take on the role, but would rather talk about it when Craig announces he's going; again, he's an ever-rising Hollywood star, thanks to Homeland, and so he'd have the perfect level of fame for the role. He'd probably bring the franchise back in line with Sean Connery's very British portrayal; he's an actor who's more about his expression and his presence than the action scenes. He'd still be an excellent candidate to play 007. He's a big fan of Craig, and appears to want the role, so why not?
