10 Actors Too Young For The Roles They Played
3. Scarlett Johansson As Charlotte
Lost in Translation (2003) is a quirky comedy staring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. Murray plays Bob Harris, an actor with a marriage and career spiraling the drain. His will-they or won’t-they pseudo-romance with college-graduate Charlotte never actually crosses that line.
The story of a 53-year old man and an early to mid-twenties woman who have an intense connection that could easily become an affair is an interesting one... except Johansson was only 18 when filming. The extra years shaved-off from the intended age of Charlotte adds an unintentional level of creepy to their encounters.
