10 Actors Who Admit To Bombing Big Auditions

6. Channing Tatum - The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift

The movie: Before the Fast and Furious franchise reached a level of success that no one could have predicted, it was an alright movie with two forgettable sequels. The most forgettable of the bunch was 2006's Tokyo Drift.

The actor: Speaking of unpredictable success, Channing Tatum's meteoric rise was hard to see coming back when he was a bland pretty-boy actor. Now he stars in films by Steven Soderbergh and the Coen Brothers, but back then he would have fit right at home in the Fast and Furious franchise.

The audition: The number one rule they tell young actors about the audition process is DO NOT forget you lines. Tatum must have missed that acting class.

"I stopped in the middle of the audition. I blocked it out mainly, so I don't remember the specifics. I think it was a combination of probably me being just bad, not remembering the lines, like totally freaked out, probably sweating a lot. They didn't even try to stop me—they were like. 'Alright, it's probably a good idea.'"

Forgot your lines? Really Tatum? It's Fast and Furious. How complicated could the dialogue be? Did you mix up Honda and Hyundai? How you handled Tarantino dialogue, I'll never know.
