You need only watch Charlie Cox in Daredevil to see what the actor is capable of. Most known before the series for his role in the 2007 fantasy film Stardust, Cox has proven that he is a very viable troubled protagonist and that he's more than capable of pulling off some excellent stunt work roles.
The actor has proven himself to be incredibly versatile throughout his career, and it makes sense with his look and energy for him to be a top contender for the role of 007. Put Cox in a tux and ask him to order a martini and he'd bring a lot of powerful charm to the request.
Seeing as Cox has experience working on a large feature film set, it's safe to assume that he would be able to handle the pressure of the productions. It's an intimidating position for an actor to be in, and there is no doubt that Cox would fair incredibly well working under that.
