10 Actors Who Are Completely Unrecognisable For Upcoming Movies

4. Russell Brand - Death On The Nile

If this new series of Hercule Poirot movies sees Kenneth Branagh scarcely visible behind a comically gigantic mustache, he's not the only actor almost disappearing from sight in the upcoming Poirot sequel, Death on the Nile.

Though the likes of Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, and Letitia Wright are pretty much all recognisable as themselves, the same can't quite be said for Russell Brand, who ditches his signature untamed, flowing locks for something a little more coiffed and controlled.

As Dr. Bessner, Brand is naturally required to cut a more traditionally professional figure, and so both his beard and head hair have been sculpted to look as dapper as possible.

The sharp, tailored suit and glasses are also among the last things you'd ever expect to see the actor-comedian wearing.

Beyond this, the sheer fact that Brand hasn't appeared in a major live-action Hollywood movie since 2012's Rock of Ages is enough to make you second-guess whether you actually saw him in the trailer or not.
