Jon Favreau has come a long way from his beginnings as Mike from Swingers and Pete in Friends.

He began his acting career in the early 90s and had a few well received, under-the-radar film roles. He then took a stab at directing with his 2001 crime comedy Made and followed that up with Christmas classic Elf and Zathura: A Space Adventure before beginning work on the Marvel Cinematic universe with Iron Man, starting his journey into pop-culture royalty.

He went on to be a huge creative element of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, directing the first 2 Iron Man films and executive producing all of the Avengers films. Adding to this he was the director and producer behind smash-hit Disney remakes The Jungle Book and the Lion King, as well as more than a few television productions including the recent hit The Mandalorian.
