10 Actors Who Began Their Career In A Soap Opera

There are many ways we could describe Margot Robbie's success, but there are few that would do her achievements justice. Simply put, the Australian-born 28-year-old is quite possibly the biggest actress in the world. With starring roles in hugely successful movies over the last few years, including Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street, and I, Tonya, Robbie pretty much has the world at the her feet.

However, before she was being nominated for Oscars and attending red carpet ceremonies, she was similarly killing it on Neighbours as high school kid Donna Freedman - a role that she portrayed for four years. Much like Geyer, Robbie was present for one of Neighbours' greatest eras, and her character was part of some of the show's greatest storylines, including the death of her love interest, Ringo Brown.

It was pretty clear to those of us who watched Neighbours while Robbie was a cast member that the young actress was destined for big things, but nobody could have predicted just how successful Robbie would actually become.
