10 Actors Who Clearly Knew Their Movie Sucked

There are very few truly universally acknowledged truths in this world: what goes up must come down, nothing in life is for certain except death and taxes, and that Robert Pattinson hates Twilight with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns.

It's become something of a running gag online just how much ole R-Pats hates Stephanie Meyer's romance novel series, from the story itself, to how reviled he is personally with the character of Edward. However, he was still a young actor and this was a huge meal ticket at the time, so like Kirsten Stewart and the rest of the cast, he did the best that he could.

Which isn't a lot, mind you, since the Twilight movies had different directors for almost every movie and Summit somehow kept finding directors who couldn't direct an actor to save their lives each time. And seeing how much faith an actor must put into their director to tell them when they did a good job, it's no wonder that everyone comes off a little flat.

But at least Pattinson embodies the kind of brooding mysteriousness needed for someone like Edward practically by birthright.
