10 Actors Who Could Play Ghost Rider In The MCU
9. Arthur Darvill
If this article were released during Arthur Darvill's time as Rory Williams in Doctor Who, then you'd probably disregard such an option. However, since his departure from the time-travelling BBC epic, he has proven that he can play far darker roles.
This wouldn't be his first time working with a comic book property, as he played a leading figure in DC's Legends of Tomorrow with the CW. While this series wasn't particularly groundbreaking, it at least gave us a more severe side to Darvill that proves he would suit the gritty world of Ghost Rider.
He has a remarkable ability to play complex characters who have a real past about them. Bringing this sense of loss and complexity to the position of Johnny Blaze, Dan Ketch, or another Rider would undoubtedly benefit whatever direction Marvel decide to go in.
Additionally, his red hair would be a good fit for the flame headed character, allowing for a more symbolic connection between his human and hellish sides.
