10 Actors Who Gave Their Worst Performance In Star Wars

8. Hayden Christensen

Much like fellow returning Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi star Joel Edgerton, Hayden Christensen's highly-anticipated comeback to the galaxy far, far away this year gifted the star often buried underneath a stagnant script and routinely soulless scenes a chance to finally make good on the potential that was always present... even in those darker sandy days.

Long before he was being afforded the chance to fully let loose as Darth Vader against his old master or roll back the years with a glorious twinkle in his eye, Christensen became something of a scapegoat for the often derided Prequel flicks as a whole.

Deeply forced and uncomfortable sexual tension with Natalie Portman's Padmé Amidala, hit-and-miss bursts of petulant rage, and a lack of any real presence for an entity known as one of the most respected Jedi in the galaxy later down the road were issues all heightened by that aforementioned dreadful dialogue throughout.

And it's not as though Christensen is an entirely untalented performer either, with his gripping work in 2001's Life as a House, 2003's Shattered Glass, and the already noted Obi-Wan series all highlighting the talent that was largely stifled in his Episode II and III showings.
