10 Actors Who Got Severely Injured In Movies (But Just Ran With It)

1. Jackie Chan In Every Jackie Chan Movie Ever

No actor has ever accumulated more injuries whilst filming then the legend that is Jackie Chan or carried on filming with them.

The man has broken as many bones as he has records, but Jackie still goes back for more. In Rumble In The Bronx, he finished the film in a cast that was painted to look like a shoe after breaking an ankle and several toes jumping onto a moving hovercraft, yes that's right a HOVERCRAFT.

He took a bayonet through the hand in Myth, experienced temporary paralysis on several other films from falls, burnt his hands doing a crab walk on hot coals TWICE, got hit by a helicopter and managed to dislocate his cheekbone of all things on top of a host of other injuries.

The man is an almost unstoppable force, in fact, the only injury he ever suffered which stopped him from completing a film for an extended period of time was Armour Of God, which saw him undergo specialist surgery to remove shards of his skull from his brain, and also means he had a permanent hole in his head that's filled with a plastic plug.

The best part is Jackie actually ended up taking over as director for the film following that incident and went back and refilmed the scene in which he got hurt in again. What a hero.
