7. Jason Statham Was A Professional Diver
Some actors have made names for themselves over the years thanks to their ability to adapt, and to play any kind of role required. You look at the range of people like Gary Oldman, Stanley Tucci, or Cate Blanchett among many others, and you'll rarely see a similar role twice.
Then, on the other hand, there are those who have become famous for carving out their own identity that is injected into every single role they play. The bald, typically Cockney, badass characters portrayed by Jason Statham all share that similarity, and it's actually quite hard to imagine him being anything else.
Before his acting days however, long before the likes of The Meg, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, or the Fast and Furious franchise, Jason Statham was a competitive diver. He even represented England at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland in 1990, and had Olympic aspirations that were unfortunately never realised.
As weird as it is to see Statham diving in the above video, it's far weirder to see the man with a full head of hair.
