10 Actors Who Haven't Given A Good Movie Performance In Over A Decade

9. Al Pacino

Al Pacino€™s cinematic legacy would be secure even if he continued his tepid run of films well into the twilight of his career (you€™d think that might be now, at 75, but he shows no signs of slowing). Said run encompasses films where he€™s merely okay (The Humbling, an interesting project that, executed differently, could€™ve been a return to cinematic form for Pacino), to films that have Pacino testing that legacy€™s durability, asking how much it would really take to damage it (Jack And Jill, opposite Adam Sandler dressed as a woman)? As with the majority of actors on this list, though, and as outlined in the introduction, he€™s been doing some fine work on television. You Don€™t Know Jack (2010) and Phil Spector (2013) (two TV movies by Humbling director Barry Levinson) are the best examples of this, with Pacino returning to interesting roles via doctor-assisted suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian, and iconic record producer Phil Spector. It€™s at the cinema we really would love him back though, the place where he gifted us Michael Corleone and Frank Serpico. No amount of Righteous Kills (2008) or Two For The Moneys (2005) could ever tarnish those roles, but sometimes its easy to forget that.
