7. Daniel Rigby/Bryan Dick - Morecambe and Wise
Back in the day, there was a pretty famous double act of two guys who grew up in vaudeville and eventually graduated to television in the mid 1950s. Together, Morecambe and Wise went a long way in defining English comedy for a generation. It goes without saying that they weren't the type of comedians that you could see just anywhere. They were innovative, and not easily replicated. So imagine my surprise when Eric and Ernie, a humble BBC drama, was released, and I was suddenly horribly confused because these guys are perfect. They do an incredible job at emulating all of the little bits of business that the much-loved double act was known for, and that's probably one of the highest compliments I can give them.
