10 Actors Who Make Everything They're In Better

9. Stanley Tucci

Despite his overall popularity, Stanley Tucci is one of his generation's most underrated actors. He's starred in dozens of classic movies over his career, including Spotlight, Road to Perdition, The Hunger Games, and The Devil Wears Prada.

Interestingly, if you watch his work, he never sticks around for too long. In Road to Perdition, for example, he has barely two scenes, but still proves a witty match for star Tom Hanks. Likewise, in the Hunger Games movies, he's around sparingly, but makes his screen time pay off with an eccentric but complex performance.

Able to be everything from creepy and terrifying to sweet, tragic and honourable, he's an actor who very rarely lands a leading role (though he recently shone in the drama Supernova), but always knows how bring out the best in himself.

Tucci's presence is so engaging and charismatic, that he can make even the worst movies of his career bearable. Just look at his work in Transformers: Age of Extinction and The Lovely Bones - it takes a special kind of star to come out of those movies unscathed.
