10 Actors Who Might Save Upcoming Movies

After Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom so thoroughly jumped the shark, all bets are off for the upcoming threequel Dominion, which will presumably focus on a fleet of escaped dinosaurs running wild all over the world.

It seems destined to be primo schlock, especially with original Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow back as both writer and director.

But there is one small sliver of hope that it might be a fun victory lap for the IP - the returns of Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum).

While it's entirely possible the trio are simply back for quick paycheck cameos similar to Goldblum's brief appearance in Fallen Kingdom, seeing the three beloved characters back together for the first time since the original film - an entire 29 years ago! - will immediately lend the film some added credibility among the fanbase.

It's unlikely we'll see them running around with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, but if they can play a meaningful part in the story while doing justice to the characters themselves, they're sure to elevate a film that otherwise invites justifiably low expectations.
