That’s right Cameron Diaz has retired from acting. The same Cameron Diaz who was the love interest in There’s Something About Mary, Shrek, and even Gangs of New York. Heck, she even took Farah Faucett’s old role in a Charlie’s Angels reboot franchise. That takes some pretty righteous chops.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg too. Diaz boasts quite the resume that any performer could be proud of. Still, it’s pretty wild to consider she hasn’t appeared in a movie since 2014's Annie reboot playing Miss Hannigan. Again, not exactly a bad role to play.

Her retirement was then announced shortly after, and thus the career of one of the most in-demand actresses of the late 90's and early 2000's came to a close. But this is showbiz baby, so it's never too dangerous to say "never say never".
