No not the fruity non-alcoholic beverage that adolescents will consume at weddings to make them feel like they're fitting in a monks the alcoholic indulgences of the adults, but the actress who was arguably the biggest star on the planet in the 1930s.
Shirley Temple, made famous by her trademark curly hair that helped her become known as arguably the most famous child actor or actress of all time. Her breakout role came in the 1934 film, Stand Up and Cheer! and would go on to star in a plethora of other films of the time such as Heidi, Curly Top (great title) The Little Colonel, The Little Princess (see a theme here?) amongst many others.
As her career somewhat plateaued, Temple decided to call it a career in 1950, but her impact on the film industry and Hollywood as a whole is something that can not be denied. One can only imagine what might have been had she continued.
