You won't find many people who would be quick to name any one of the new human Jurassic World additions to this deadly dino-franchise as their absolute favourite elements of the series.

However, those same folks would likely point to one of these newcomers as perhaps the absolute worst thing that happened to all things Jurassic Park.

As with just about every single gifted actor occupying a spot on this list, Justice Smith has definitely proven he possesses a ton of talent on-screen in the likes of Detective Pikachu, Dungeons & Dragons, and even in The Quarry video game.

In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in particular, though, it seems he only had one setting as Franklin Webb throughout the two-hour hit-and-miss middle-entry in the World trilogy: horrifically annoying.

It's the moment involving a vicious Baryonyx creeping towards our heroes on a melting Isla Nublar that really left viewers rolling their eyes and wishing they'd taken a punt on another flick.

Here, Smith turns potentially one of the most terrifying and tense sequences of the entire franchise into a painfully irritating few minutes, screeching about the lava seeping into the room and the big bad dino edging closer.

Now sure, a bit of fear is to be expected in such a petrifying situation. But Smith's overacting in this scene got the film's biggest set-piece off to a hugely disappointing start.
