10 Actors Who Should Never Be Allowed To Work Again

3. Hayden Christensen

Hayden Christensen is not a man short of critical cinematic offences. This is the man who portrayed Anakin Skywalker in two Star Wars prequels and through his impossibly wooden performance did his best to destroy the mythology of Darth Vader. Since Star Wars he has appeared in things such as the tepid Awake, the monumentally disastrous Jumper, the pathetic ensemble piece New York, I Love You and the predictably disappointing Takers. With Christensen, it comes down to the simple fact he cannot act at all. The only forms of facial communication he can operate are blinking and partially wincing. It is probably no coincidence he has worked very sparingly since the almost universally negative reaction to his work in the Star Wars prequels. Christensen is not an actor you can hate, he doesn't do enough of anything to make you feel a strong emotion one way or the other. He is merely an incredibly bad actor, who, if there were any justice in the world, would never work on a film again.
