Nicholas Hoult is already part of a huge superhero franchise thanks to playing Hank McCoy in the rebooted X-Men timeline but as you all know, that wouldn't deter Marvel; Chris Evans famously played The Human Torch in two Fantastic Four movies before jumping ship to Marvel Studios just a few years later to play Captain America. Despite only being 25 years old, Hoult already has two decades of experience in the industry under his belt and could prove to be a better fit for Spider-Man than the X-Men's furry blue genius. The young actor is already well-versed in appearing in big-budget blockbusters thanks to the X-Men movies, Clash of the Titans and Jack the Giant Slayer but he has also proven to be a versatile dramatic talent as well. Looking to build an eclectic filmography, Hoult has no less than six movies set for release in 2015 across multiple genres including mystery, sci-fi, comedy and action, not to mention an almost-unrecognizable supporting role in Mad Max: Fury Road. With his profile steadily on the rise, the actor wouldn't be fazed in the slightest by taking on such a high-profile lead role if Marvel Studios ever came knocking.
