10 Actors Who Should Star in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

2. Harry Lloyd

The versatile actor is best known for his work as a villain, both with his chilling performance as Son Of Mine in the Doctor Who story Human Nature/Family of Blood, and the dangerously unstable Viserys Targaryen on Game of Thrones. Despite this background, he could definitely pull off Newt Scamander. He has a chameleon like quality that allows him to totally disappear into characters. And as frightening as he can be as a bad guy, he's genuinely likable when he's playing characters of the non-evil variety, as seen as his performance as Will Scarlett in BBC's Robin Hood and, more recently, as Stephen Hawking's best friend from university in The Theory of Everything. Quite frankly, it's time for Harry Lloyd to become a little more well-known and finally get the credit he deserves as an actor.
