9. Jeremy Renner - Broke Both Arms (Tag)
The 2018 film Tag is a heartwarming story inspired by an article published in The Wall Street Journal about a group of childhood friends who, essentially, started playing tag at school and never stopped.
Jeremy Renner stars in this heartfelt comedy as Jerry who, in their long history of the game, had never been tagged by his best friends. With his wedding coming up, his other childhood friends think it's the perfect time to band together and finally tag his slippery butt before the big day. Jerry, however moves like a ninja cat (now there's a kids' cartoon idea) and tagging him is no easy feat.
Although the film is more of a buddy comedy than an action film, the movie still has a lot of breath-taking stunts most of which are performed by Jeremy Renner. During an action sequence which involved Renner climbing up a stack of 30 chairs in order to escape being tagged, his harness broke and he fell to the floor breaking both arms.
Despite the awful injury, Renner returned to work the same day and was able to continue filming with the use of CGI arm braces to hide his casts. Hardcore Parkour!
