10 Actors Who Suffered The Most After Winning An Oscar

1. Halle Berry

Halle Berry gets a lot of flack, because lots of people like to suggest she's always been a terrible actor. This is not true. She has the little golden fella on her fireplace to prove it.

Monster's Ball was a revelation and Berry was too, putting together the skills she'd learned in other good projects over the first decade of her career and some terrible ones too to offer a sublime performance that justifiably won her the Oscar.

And then she decided to go rogue, making Die Another Day, which was just okay, X-Men 2 - in which she forgot to even act - and then Catwoman, the most notorious of all notoriously bad decisions in Hollywood circles. She might have accepted her Razzie in person as a sign of being a good sport, but her filmography since Catwoman has very much reflected the star of Catwoman and not the Oscar-winning star of Monster's Ball.

As final testament to her fall from grace, when it comes around to pulling together pieces like this, her name is basically always the flagship choice.
