10 Actors Who Suffered The Most After Winning An Oscar

2. Anne Hathaway

You really have to admire the way Anne Hathaway won her Oscar. She was barely in Les Miserables, sang purposefully off-note (to sell the emotion of her scenes), shaved her head and died all within the first act. And she was the run-away winner of 2013's Best Supporting Actress.

Since then, though, things have been rather less rosy. She's had highs, like the painfully underrated Colossal and Interstellar, but she's also had some absolute stinkers. Song One, Don Peyote, Alice Through the Looking Glass, Ocean's Eight, Serenity and The Hustle. That is not the form of an Oscar winner. Read that back again, it's an absolute travesty.

Hopefully The Witches can turn things around, because this slump is close to criminal. And any more double-bills like Serenity and The Hustle and cinemas will start closing voluntarily.
