10 Actors Who Suffered The Most In 2017

10. Will Ferrell

Though Will Ferrell's career has been on a bit of a downturn over the last few years, 2017 was especially bad for the funnyman, as both of the movies he starred in scored his worst reviews for almost 20 years.

First up was this summer's The House, which scored just 17% critically and failed to recoup its modest $40 million budget. Then there was Daddy's Home 2, which landed at 18% on the Tomatometer, though was at least a financial success.

The last time a major Will Ferrell-starring comedy was reviewed as badly as either these films was in 1998, when A Night at the Roxbury was near-universally panned, and currently holds just 11% on the Tomatometer. Ouch.

At least Ferrell has the chance for a rebound with his Holmes and Watson movie next year, co-starring his Step Brothers colleague John C. Reilly, but 2017 has pretty much been a year the comedy legend would probably rather forget.
