10 Actors Who Took Movie Roles For Weird Reasons

3. Hugh Jackman's School Donation - X-Men: First Class

Of course, everyone was overjoyed at the news that Hugh Jackman was returning as Wolverine for the third Deadpool movie. His portrayal of Logan is iconic among superheroes, as he appeared in every single X-Men movie with the exception of Dark Phoenix.

Granted, his role in X-Men: First Class was a cameo that lasted mere seconds, but his telling Charles (James McAvoy) and Erik (Michael Fassbender) to go f**k themselves was a fantastic moment and genuinely better than anything that happened in Dark Phoenix. What makes it better is that Jackman wasn't even technically paid for this scene.

The actor told SlashFilm in an interview on the set of Days of Future Past that rather than receiving a fee from Fox for the scene, the studio made a charitable donation to his kids' schools.

As if it wasn't cool enough that he is Wolverine in the same way Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man, or Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool, and as if it wasn't enough that he got to tell both Professor X and Magneto to f**k off, he was able to do it in a way that benefitted not only his children, but many others with them at school. Is there a cooler man alive than Hugh Jackman?
