Years to Reprise Role: 12

Renée Zellweger stared in the romantic comedy Bridget Jones's Dairy in 2001. The film follows Bridget, single, 32 and working for a publishing company while she navigates her romantic feelings for two different men.

A sequel came out in 2004, and it took another 12 years before the third and final (at least so far) film in the series was released. Renée Zellweger is back as Bridget, and the film takes advantage of the large time gap to have the protagonist struggling with a surprise pregnancy and uncertainty over which of her current two love interests is the father.

Bridget Jones's Baby seems to have been worth the wait. It was far better reviewed then the second in the series, and grossed $211 million worldwide.

West loves pop culture, movies, comics and TV-shows just as much as you do. Probably. Since you're reading this. Also, she has a cat. He's pretty awesome.
