2. Frances Bean Cobain My Mother Said No
Out of all the ridiculous excuses on this list this is the best one. Ms. Cobain was offered the role of Bella Swan in the Twilight movies but was compelled to turn it down. Why? Her mother told her no. Her mother said, "She was 13, it would have completely destroyed her life." I tend to agree, child stars of late have not been doing so well in limelight these days, Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes come to mind. However, she is now 21 and probably grateful to be able to make her own decisions.
