10 Actors Who Virtually Guarantee A Terrible Blockbuster Movie
5. Charlie Hunnam
Charlie Hunnam's time as the charismatic and unpredictable Jax Teller on Sons of Anarchy made it appear as though he was destined to become the latest in a long line of young stars to make the jump from the small screen to movie stardom, but a couple of high-profile missteps have since proved that his talents are much more suited to projects that don't cost a small fortune to produce.
The Geordie somehow proved to be even less emotive than his robot co-stars that largely didn't even have faces in Pacific Rim, while if it wasn't for David Beckham giving one of the worst acting performances ever committed to film or Astrid Berges-Frisbey channeling all of the intensity of a wooden spoon, Hunnam would have taken bottom marks among the cast of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword for his painfully bland work as the title character.
The Lost City of Z, Papillon, Triple Frontier and The Gentleman have all shown an actor capable at doing great work as part of a talented ensemble, just as long as it isn't his name and his name alone above the title on the poster.
