8. Chris Hemsworth As Thor
From the character starting out as a Shakespearean fuddy duddy, to him eventually morphing into a lovable buffoon, Chris Hemsworth has adapted very well to the changes to the Asgardian over the years, and brought some much needed comedy and humanity to the role of Thor.
Despite the successes Hemsworth has had with the character, it is now very possible that Thor may change again, with Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi rumoured to be stepping down for any further Thor sequels due to the film's mixed reaction. Even so, despite that mixed reception to the film, one aspect of Thor: Love and Thunder that most people agree on is that Hemsworth's performance as Thor was the best part of the film, making the overall viewing experience much more enjoyable than it could've been.
Even if Waititi doesn't return for Thor 5, the ending of Love and Thunder promised that Thor will return soon. So, if Love and Thunder does indeed mark the end of Taika's time in the director's chair for the Thunder God, Hemsworth will thankfully remain in the role for a few more outings, much to the delight of fans of the character.
