Kate Winslet's second husband was award winning director Sam Mendes. They were married from 2003 to 2010 and made precisely one movie together, 2008's Revolutionary Road.
Mendes cast Winslet's old Titanic co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, to portray her husband, reprising their electric chemistry from a decade prior. It proved to be rather a bold choice as Mendes felt so uncomfortable filming their sex scenes that he would leave and monitor them from another room.
While the movie did not break the box office like Titanic, Revolutionary Road was well received by critics and Winslet won a Golden Globe for her effort.
