1. Denise Richards - Nuclear Physicist (The World Is Not Enough)
Granted, real-life scientists probably don't look like Robert Downey Jr. or Harrison Ford either, but Denise Richards takes the cake for most "miscast and totally unlikely human being to look like she might've become a nuclear physicist at some point her in life." If you've ever heard Denise Richards say something outside of a movie, perhaps on her horribly dim-witted reality TV show, you'd be right to ponder whether she can even say the word "nuclear" properly. The worst thing about Richards' genius-level character in
The World Is Not Enough isn't even that Godawful name (Dr. Christmas Jones - what?!), but in the way that she plays the character without a hint of irony. Is it surprising that this character was voted the least appealing Bond girl ever on dozens of occassions? We can certainly buy crazy gadgets and secret agents, but
nobody is dumb enough to believe Richards in this profession. I mean, she disarms a freakin' bomb!
