10 Actors Who Were Robbed Of Iconic Movie Roles By Injury

10. Shia LaBeouf As Edward Morra - Limitless

Limitless Believe it or not, but 2011's thriller Limitless - which starred Bradley Cooper as a man who takes an experimental drug which allows him to reach his untapped potential - wasn't supposed to star Bradley Cooper at all, but (who'd have guessed it?) Mr. Shia LaBeouf. Yes, back when Limitless was being shopped around Hollywood as a screenplay called "The Dark Fields," it was originally intended as a vehicle for LaBeouf. That was until he got himself into a car accident. Yes, unfortunately for Shia, he ended up breaking four fingers and his hand in a car accident, which meant that he was deemed unfit for the lead role of Edward Morra. Bradley Cooper was brought in at this point, and it's hard to imagine anyone else being associated with this film - especially since this was the movie that sort of marked a turning point for Bradley Cooper as a major Hollywood movie star. In fact, Cooper probably owes some of his success to Shia LaBeouf.
