As Avengers Endgame came to its heart-breaking conclusion, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) was cruelly taken away from us after snapping his fingers to take down the mighty Thanos.

He may have saved the entire universe, but only a select few people were invited to the late Iron Man's funeral. One particular mourner who stood out to many was Ty Simpkin's Harley Keener, making his first MCU appearance since he helped out Stark in Iron Man 3 (2013).

This was a sweet nod to the lives Tony touched throughout his run as one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but it still felt like a bit of a waste of Simpkin's obvious talents.

Was it too much to ask for just one little exchange between Harley and Happy (John Favreau)? Or possibly even a comparing of notes with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) once the emotional ceremony was over?

Harley played an important part in Tony's epic MCU arc and this fleeting appearance felt like a bit of a throwaway moment once you realised who he was.

Hopefully this isn't the last we see of Simpkins in the MCU and his wasted Endgame appearance was merely a tease of things to come.
