Most of the time, having to share a workplace with your ex isn't what you'd class as an enjoyable scenario for all involved.

Yet, while this can often be subtly worked around when it comes to filming a sweeping epic TV show, with many varying locations and storylines to drag various characters away from each other, it became increasingly noticeable over the course of Game of Thrones eight seasons that the show were trying to keep two particular former lovebirds apart.

Lena Headey and Jerome Flynn, playing Cersei Lannister and Bronn, respectively, dated before appearing on the show. Yet, the two were said to have had a messy break-up, leading to the showrunners doing everything they could to keep the two characters away from each other over the course of the series.

Aside from the odd fleeting moment of shared screen-time, that's precisely what they were able to achieve, with Bronn even retreating to go and have a drink with Pod during the seventh season's climactic meeting of the show's many main characters in the Dragonpit.
