10 Actors Who Will No Longer Work Together

4. Bill Murray And Lucy Liu

The Interview James Franco Seth Rogen
Columbia Pictures

When two varying personalities simply don't mix, the wise and professional thing to do is just get the work done and then stay as far away from each other as humanly possible. And this tactic appeared to be working a treat for Charlie's Angels stars Bill Murray and Lucy Liu when it soon became clear these two weren't going to be meeting up to play bowling after shooting.

Then, Murray reportedly called out his co-star's technique. Telling Liu, "You can't act!", opened the door for a physical attack on the Ghostbusters star. The pair were then separated, but the damage had already been done.

For the film's sequel, it came as little surprise to see that Murray was not involved, with Bernie Mac taking up the mantle of Bosley in Full Throttle as the character's adoptive brother. Though the comedy legend would claim that he was merely insulting the lines Liu was being told to say, the fact Murray swiftly exited the franchise and the two stayed well clear of each other post-Angels tells you all you need to know about their compatibility on set.
