9. Justice Smith - Pokémon: Detective Pikachu

Though Justice Smith is a young up-and-comer, he did himself no favours with his much-reviled performance in last year's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as the screeching nerd Franklin Webb.

Smith has at least proven his acting chops before in Netflix's The Get Down, but it's reasonable to expect that Detective Pikachu will see him playing in a far broader blockbuster mode.

The marketing pretty much paints Smith's protagonist Tim Goodman as the generic human proxy between the audience and Ryan Reynolds' Pikachu and not a whole lot else.

The trailers will obviously be focused on the CGI Pokémon over the humans, but from what we've seen of his work so far, he could end up a totally charmless sidekick to Pikachu.
